Inovonics names Kallman Senior VP of global sales

LOUISVILLE – Louisville-based Inovonics Wireless Corporation, providers of wireless sensor networks and commercial intrusion detection applications, has hired Gary Kallman as senior vice president of global sales.

Before joining Inovonics, Kallman held executive positions at 3VR, Digital Monitoring Products, Radionics, Inc. (now Bosch) and Fire Burglary Instruments, Inc. (now Honeywell). In addition to sales and relationship management experience, Inovonics officials say Kallman brings expertise in marketing communications, new product introductions and building high-performance sales teams.

According to Inovonics president Mark Jarman, Kallman has extensive experience in building and leading sales teams in a variety of business-to-business industries and successfully building win-win relationships with strategic clients. Jarman is expecting his new sales executive to focus on indirect and direct channel development, vertical market penetration, creation and execution of high-level selling and strategic customer alignment.

Working with OEMs and service provider partners, Inovonics provides network design and system engineering support for the use of wireless technologies for corporate, industrial, government and educational applications. Founded in 1986, the company offers a line of transmitters, receivers and control modules to provide a backbone for wireless systems. According to company officials, more than 10 million Inovonics wireless devices have been deployed in commercial environments.
