The appointment is Huberman’s third stint with a Colorado technology company. Before his job as general counsel and corporate secretary at Broomfield-based Webroot, he served as Assistant General Counsel at Intrado, a provider of emergency communication services and technology headquartered in Longmont.
According to Rally, Huberman brings with him more than 15 years of experience negotiating complex transactions, forging strategic relationships, and handling a broad range of legal and regulatory matters in both private and public company settings.
In his new job, he will manage Rally's worldwide legal affairs, including corporate transactions, licensing, intellectual property, general corporate matters, governance and compliance. Rally provides cloud-based solutions for managing Agile software development.
"David has a unique background that combines deep expertise leading legal teams for globally distributed technology companies with a strong entrepreneurial spirit for making decisions that maximize value and create long-term opportunities," says Rally CEO Tim Miller. "We're looking forward to the broad strategic focus David will bring to the business as we continue to meet the growing demand for Agile software development solutions and expertise."
Prior to his Colorado jobs, Huberman was an attorney with the Washington D.C. firm Wiley, Rein & Fielding. He earned his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center, an MBA from the University of Denver, and a B.A. degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
